St. Joseph's College, Gregory Terrace (Terrace)

St Joseph's College, Gregory Terrace (Terrace) is a Catholic Day School for young men from Years 5 to 12, founded by the Christian Brothers, in 1875. Terrace is one of the nine Great Public Schools (GPS) Colleges in Queensland and is among the oldest.

In 2007, St Joseph’s College chose to partner with B&H Australia for Audio Visual services. Since then B&H have installed AV systems throughout the entire School and across multiple campuses. The AV systems typically include Wireless HD projectors, electric screens, and audio systems. Quality AV systems simplified use by touch panels and push button control systems are installed in almost every teaching space.

When St Josephs College approached B&H for an AV System to encourage student collaboration, B&H developed a solution where individual student PC’s can be displayed on any of the five displays in the classroom. The functionality is provided by an advanced signal management and switching solution, all controlled by the teacher from an AMX touch panel. B&H Australia have now installed many of these systems at St Joseph’s College and the AV systems enable the students to work together in groups and share ideas.
