Runge Ltd

Runge Limited, an international mining consulting and software company, moved its head office into a newly constructed building in Brisbane’s CBD. Required as part of the large interior fit-out project were a number of fully equipped meeting rooms, a break out space and an executive boardroom.

B&H Australia were approached as one of five companies invited to quote on the initial equipment specification.  From that point the proposals were presented to Runge, the field was narrowed from five companies to two and the specification extended.  After several rounds of revisions the room designs were finalised and the project was awarded to B&H Australia.

The fit-out consisted of three system designs applied to rooms across five levels of the building, as well as a foyer digital signage system spanning the company’s five levels.  Each presentation space was equipped with a wide format projection system, motorised projection screen, PC, DVD and TV viewing capabilities as well as allowance within the design to easily add future video conferencing as required.

A key requirement in any corporate presentation space is making the AV system easy to operate for any user, so AMX control systems were used in all rooms to control and manage the array of equipment being installed.  Each room has a wall mounted colour touch panel as a single point of control, with the executive boardroom also having a wireless MVP series colour touch panel.  Also integrated as part of the complete solution were motorised window blinds and the building’s ECS lighting system.  With a single button press on an AMX touch panel the room transforms with blinds and screen dropping, certain lights dimming, and the projector coming alive to display the selected source.
